Sharna started her career as a civil servant in the graduate fast track scheme in Australia and after several years in trade negotiations and diplomacy, she moved to the UK where she worked in Human Rights and Data Protection. Her work as a management consultant has been focussed on improving the way public sector operates and delivers services. She has implemented a number of national level technology driven transformational initiatives for governments in several different countries and advised the World Bank when establishing a programme on innovative public service delivery using digital technologies.
In the UK, she has worked across the third sector and local and central government for more than 10 years, working with senior leadership teams in developing new visions, operating models, organisational restructures and implementing operational changes including culture and organisational behaviour. Sharna holds a variety of qualifications including GDPR Practitioner Certificate.
